Experience: 10 - 15 yrs QUALIFICATIONS : CA / ICWA PUPOSE OF THE ROLE : - Accountable for organization's overall finance function - Enable the business to grow rapidly and profitably - Partner the business leaders, help shape the strategic direction, and implement initiatives to achieve organizational goals - Lead annual and long-term budgeting exercises - Work closely with business to manage expansion projects from a budgetary point of view - Spearhead and manage both external and internal risks - Implement controls and ensure legal/statutory compliance JOB SUMMARY : - Spearhead the finance function of the business - Build strong financial processes and systems - As part of the ExCom, enable rapid business growth by partnering other key functions of sales, marketing, operations, and supply chain - Drive business profitability through commercial actions, particularly price management, productivity enhancement, and cost reduction in operations and supply chain - Work closely with sales and marketing functions to improve pricing and product mix - Understand the key drivers of the cost elements and work closely with Plant operations and supply chain team to drive various cost reduction projects - Budgeting, Monthly reporting, Projections to Business on the pricing/costing, variances - Internal Controls Compliance and risk management . Preparation of various MIS reports on inventory, spares and consumables consumption, Purchase price etc. - Ensuring proper inventory management to control working capital - Benchmarking of the plant costs across location/products/manufacturing lines - Scenario Analysis/Make or Buy - Evaluating Investment proposals (including large/medium capex) - Supporting business on key capex projects - Collaborate with Shared Services center for transactions relating to Payables, Book Closing, Taxation, etc - Highlighting key areas of concerns to management and thus enabling decision-making and help organization improving profitability.
