Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Finance Head to lead the overall Finance & Accounts function . The role will be responsible for financial planning, accounting, taxation, treasury, working capital management, compliance, audits, financial controls, and jewellery inventory management.

The incumbent will work closely with the management team and provide strategic financial insights to support business growth, profitability and expansion.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee overall finance, accounting and financial reporting functions.

- Prepare and review annual budgets, forecasts, MIS reports and financial statements.

- Monitor showroom-wise profitability, sales margins, operating expenses and financial performance.

- Manage cash flow, treasury, liquidity and working capital requirements.

- Handle banking facilities including working capital loans, term loans, LC and other banking arrangements.

- Prepare and review CMA and FFR reports and coordinate with banking institutions.

- Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS and other applicable statutory requirements.

- Establish and monitor internal financial controls, policies, processes and risk-management systems.

- Oversee statutory audits, internal audits, stock audits and other applicable audits.

- Monitor jewellery inventory valuation, costing, stock reconciliation and related financial controls.

- Conduct break-even analysis and financial feasibility studies for new showroom openings and expansion initiatives.

- Coordinate with auditors, banks, tax authorities and other financial institutions.

- Review financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.

- Manage tax assessments, statutory notices, audit observations and other regulatory matters.

- Lead, guide and supervise the Finance & Accounts team to ensure accuracy, efficiency and compliance.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 12-15 years of relevant experience.

ONLY MALE CANDIDATES PREFERRED

- Prior experience in the Gems & Jewellery industry is preferred.

- Strong knowledge of accounting, GST, taxation and statutory compliance.

- Strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, MIS, treasury and working capital management.

- Experience in handling banking facilities, loans, CMA and financial reporting.

- Knowledge of jewellery inventory valuation, costing, stock reconciliation and showroom profitability will be highly preferred.

- Strong analytical, commercial and problem-solving capabilities.

- Excellent leadership, stakeholder-management and communication skills.

- High level of integrity, professional ethics and attention to detail.
