Head of Accounts (CA Mandatory)

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory. Candidates without a CA qualification will not be considered.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and result-oriented Head of Accounts to lead and manage the Finance & Accounts function for a growing organization in the Cosmetics & Personal Care Industry. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in financial management, statutory compliance, taxation, audits, budgeting, and financial planning, along with hands-on experience in SAP ERP. Candidates with prior experience in the Cosmetics, FMCG, Personal Care, Beauty, or Consumer Products industry will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the complete Finance & Accounts function of the organization.

- Ensure timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and business analysis.

- Manage cash flow, working capital, and fund utilization effectively.

- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other statutory regulations.

- Handle internal, statutory, tax, and other regulatory audits.

- Drive financial reporting, MIS preparation, and management dashboards.

- Develop and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial processes.

- Ensure accurate accounting, reporting, and reconciliations through SAP ERP.

- Partner with senior management to support strategic business decisions.

- Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts & Finance team.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.

- 8-10 years of experience in Finance & Accounts.

- Strong hands-on experience working on SAP ERP (FI/CO preferred).

- Excellent knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, statutory compliance, and audit processes.

- Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.

- Experience in managing large accounting operations and finance teams.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- Candidates from the Cosmetics, Personal Care, Beauty, FMCG, Consumer Products, or Manufacturing industry will be preferred.

- Proven track record of leading finance functions and driving process improvements.

- Strong business acumen with the ability to support organizational growth and profitability.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and performance-driven environment.
