Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Finance to lead the finance function of an SME listed company.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, compliance, reporting, and ensuring strong financial governance aligned with regulatory and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the overall finance, accounting, and taxation functions.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and listing requirements.
- Oversee preparation and finalization of financial statements and audits.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial planning activities.
- Liaise with auditors, bankers, investors, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure timely filing and compliance with SEBI, ROC, and other statutory bodies.
- Monitor financial performance and provide strategic insights to management.
- Implement strong internal controls and risk management framework.
- Support management in business decision-making and growth initiatives.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience working with SME listed companies.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
Qualification & Experience:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant(CA).
- Minimum 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Prior experience in a listed or SME listed company is mandatory.
