Head of Finance - B2B SaaS

About the Role:

- We are looking for a highly driven and detail-oriented Head of Finance to lead our financial strategy, operations, and compliance.

- This is a key leadership role in a fast-paced B2B SaaS startup, ideal for someone who is hands-on with accounting, analytical with numbers, and experienced in managing P&L and balance sheets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own the end-to-end finance function including P&L management, balance sheet oversight, cash flow planning, and financial reporting

- Lead accounting operations, including AP/AR, payroll, revenue recognition, and tax compliance

- Provide actionable insights and financial forecasts to support strategic decisions

- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements

- Manage audits and liaise with external auditors and stakeholders

- Optimize financial processes and implement automation where possible

- Partner with founders and leadership team on budgeting and fundraising activities

Requirements:

- CA qualification is mandatory

- Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience in core finance and accounting

- Prior experience in B2B SaaS startups is highly preferred

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial modeling, and regulatory frameworks

- Hands-on experience in managing P&L and balance sheets

- Proficient in financial tools and accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, etc.)

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
