Job Overview:
Head Finance will play a strategic role in overseeing financial operations, driving cost optimization, enhancing internal controls, and ensuring financial accuracy for the businesses. The role involves business partnering, working capital management, financial analytics, and compliance with regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Strategy & Business Partnering:
- Provide financial leadership and strategic support to all product verticals within the Division.
- Partner with business heads to drive financial performance and profitability.
2. Financial Planning & Analytics:
- Lead financial analytics for new projects, capacity expansion, and tracking financial progress against business plans.
- Develop robust financial models and forecasting strategies.
3. Cost Optimization & Budgeting:
- Drive cost reduction initiatives and efficiency improvements across the division.
- Ensure budgeted sales, profits, and cash flows are met through proactive financial planning.
4. Internal Controls & Compliance:
- Strengthen internal controls, develop SOPs, and ensure adherence to audit and financial reporting standards.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, taxation, and corporate governance requirements.
5. Project Finance & Risk Management:
- Oversee financial systems and controls related to project business and material reconciliations.
- Implement risk management strategies, including contract review clauses with customers, insurance, and foreign exchange risk mitigation.
6. Working Capital & Treasury Management:
- Optimize working capital, ensuring efficient cash flow and liquidity management.
- Manage banking relationships, debt structuring, and financing strategies for business growth.
7. Regulatory & Policy Oversight:
- Ensure compliance with DGFT (Directorate General of Foreign Trade) policies and financial regulations.
- Oversee metal hedging policies and processes to mitigate commodity price risks.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Experience: 12-18 years of experience in finance, with a strong background in manufacturing, EPC, or project-based businesses.
- Proven experience in business partnering, financial planning, cost control, and working capital management in a manufacturing or industrial setup.
- Strong knowledge of SAP / ERP systems, financial modelling, and risk assessment.
- Ability to liaise with cross-functional teams, auditors, regulators, and banking institutions.
