We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Finance to lead and oversee the financial health of our organization.

This leadership role will be instrumental in shaping the company's financial direction, ensuring compliance, driving performance, and supporting sustainable growth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning, operations, risk management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning & Strategy

Develop and implement strategic financial plans and annual budgets aligned with business objectives

Lead long-term financial forecasting, modeling, and scenario planning

Partner with business leaders to align financial strategies with operational goals

2. Financial Reporting & Analysis

Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

Conduct variance analysis, financial modeling, and performance tracking

Present financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership and board members

3. Financial Operations Management

Manage core finance functions including accounting, cash flow, treasury, payables, receivables, and taxation

Implement and maintain financial systems, controls, and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency

Monitor working capital, optimize liquidity, and oversee capital expenditure planning

4. Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory financial requirements

Establish and enforce internal controls, financial policies, and procedures

Identify financial risks and lead initiatives to mitigate them

5. Leadership & Team Development

Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence

Set clear objectives, provide coaching, and conduct performance reviews

Promote continuous improvement and professional development across the department

6. Strategic Advisory & Business Support

Act as a key advisor to the CEO and executive team on financial matters and business strategy

Support fundraising, M&A activities, and investor relations as needed

Drive financial due diligence and support decision-making through data-driven insights

Requirements:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, CMA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent

- Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles

- Proven expertise in budgeting, financial modeling, and business planning

- Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, compliance standards, and ERP systems

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills

- Experience in industry-specific experience if needed, e.g, tech/startup/manufacturing, is a plus
