Head - Family Office - CA

We are seeking a professional with a Family Office background for a client in the manufacturing sector.

The position is to be based in Pune.

Position reporting to the Chairman.

The candidate will play an independent role.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage diversified asset classes, including listed equities, AIFs, private equity, and real estate, venture capital, debt instruments, and alternative investments.

2. Formulate and oversee domestic and international tax strategy for all family holdings, trusts, and investment entities.

3. Manage Direct Taxes (Income Tax, Capital Gains, Dividend Distribution) and Indirect Taxes Taxes (GST implications on businesses and assets).

4. Coordinate with tax advisors on global structures (e.g., Singapore, Luxembourg, U.S., DR) to ensure alignment with FEMA, RBI, and OECD BEPS guidelines.

5 . Income Tax Act (India) - including clubbing provisions, HUF, and family trusts. (Black Money (Undisclosed Foreign Income and Assets) Act.AND Transfer Pricing, GAAR, and POEM requirements for offshore structures.

6. Ensure all entities adhere to ROC filings, FCRA, FEMA returns, and statutory audits.

7. Maintain adequate insurance (life, key-man, property, liability) across entities.

8. Engage with tax advisors, trustees, lawyers, and fiduciary managers for cross-functional coordination.

9. Oversee the family foundation(s) and charitable initiatives based in Pune and other geographies.

10. Ensure full compliance with CSR Act and FCRA, including proper accounting, reporting, and impact measurement.

11. Strong command of Indian and global taxation, trust laws, FEMA, and wealth structuring.

12. Professional credentials preferred: CA
