Head - Factory/Plant HR - Manufacturing

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Factory / Plant HR Head to oversee all human resources activities at our manufacturing plant near Davanagere, Karnataka.

The ideal candidate will be a native of Karnataka with fluency in the Kannada language and a strong background in factory-level HR.

You'll be responsible for the full spectrum of HR functions, from manpower planning to statutory compliance, ensuring a productive and harmonious work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic HR Management: Lead and manage all HR functions within the plant, including manpower planning, budgeting, and performance management systems (PMS).

- Employee Relations: Proactively address and resolve employee grievances, manage disciplinary actions, and oversee all welfare activities to foster a positive workplace.

- Compliance & Administration: Ensure strict adherence to all statutory compliances and manage the end-to-end payroll process.

- Operations & Productivity: Collaborate with factory leadership to manage shifts and improve productivity.

- You'll also be responsible for preparing various management information systems (MIS) reports for leadership.

- Audits & Development: Conduct HR audits to ensure process adherence and drive learning and development (L&D) initiatives to upskill the workforce.

Skills:

- HR Management: Expertise in the full range of HR activities, including manpower planning, budgeting, PMS, payroll, and welfare.

- Compliance & Labor Relations: Strong knowledge of statutory compliances and proven experience in handling employee and labor relations, including grievances and disciplinary actions.

- Operational Acumen: The ability to understand factory operations and contribute to productivity and shift management.

- Language: Excellent communication skills, with fluency in both written and spoken Kannada.

Experience & Education:

Experience: A minimum of 14+ years of professional experience in a factory HR supervisory role within the manufacturing sector.

Education: MBA in HR or a similar degree is required.
