Location: Prayagraj CTC: 25-28 Lpa Qualification: Completed CA or ICWA Experience: 15-20+ years' experience in Factory and cost accounting Factory Accountant qualifications and skills: We are looking at qualified CA's or ICWA who have a min of 15 years of experience in handling factory accounts at various levels and currently handling a team of 4-5 people and managing factory accounts independently - General familiarity with the FMCG food industry preferred - Experience in a manufacturing unit or facility a must Responsibilities and duties: - You will be responsible of complete accounts based at Prayagraj with the following broad responsibilities - Preparing monthly accounts of the organization , all accounts closing activities , P&L and Balance sheets. - Prepare monthly journal entries review JEs carefully for anomalies and other inconsistencies ensuring total system working on SAP - Prepare monthly and quarterly accounting reports for submission to management - P&L , customer outstanding & Debtors , Creditors , receivables ageing etc - Conduct inventory reserve analysis on a quarterly basis and generate reports for senior management including ageing analysis and slow moving / non moving goods - Review rates of depreciation, labour and overhead and suggest policy changes to improve numbers - Oversee all work systems and ensure they comply with agreed procedures and keep a tight control on costs , systems and procedures. - Monitoring Performance against budgets and report variance analysis with reasons on a monthly basis - Classify costs accurately - work out SKU wise costing and variance analysis for reporting to management with reasons - Establish standard costs, review them and update them as and when required - Maintain and review the general ledger and reconcile balance sheets - Analyses costs of raw materials and other supplies and create cost-benefit analyses for changing vendors - Keep a tight control on costs of third party goods and suggest methods of reducing costs - Understand work flows and suggest changes to reduce production costs , reduction in labour etc - Work out working capital requirements and highlight gaps proactively to management for taking action on a quarterly basis
