The successful candidate will be responsible for providing data-driven insights and support to the M&R team, enabling data-informed decisions and driving business outcomes. The role involves support of M&R Hub Inspectors, data mining, analysis, reporting, and visualization to support container maintenance and repairs operations, and other business-critical initiatives.
Responsibilities
1.Supporting M&R Operations:
- Collaborate with the regional M&R Hub teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions.
- Evaluate repair documents in MARS and ensure estimation and repair performance according to company standards.
- Support M&R audits, including cost analysis and M&R general framework
- Evaluate and document on-hire inspection and off-hire repairs for leasing equipment.
- Initiate recovery of 3rd party damages, provide evidence and support in-house stakeholders
- Handle equipment emergency repairs.
- Support local tariff negotiations, control compliance of SLAs, maintenance of Vendor data, IT, SAP linking, etc.
- Analyse adhoc cost and repair cycle time statistics.
- Provide data-driven insights to support estimate approvals, container maintenance, and repair operations.
2.Reporting and Business Insights:
- Create regular management reports, ad-hoc analysis, and business insights to stakeholders.
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve container maintenance and repair operations.
3.Stakeholder Management:
- Liaise with stakeholders across the Region to provide timely support.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Qualifications
1.Education:
- University Degree preferred
- IICL (or comparable) Certification
2.Skills:
- Fluent in English, written & spoken
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools would be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
3.Experience:
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the logistics or shipping industry.
- Experience working with large datasets and data systems would be an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
1.Certifications:
- IICL Certification
2.Depot Operations, Container Repairs and Materials Experience:
- Experience working in depot operations, container repairs, or material quality is highly desirable.
- Understanding of container maintenance and repair processes, including damage assessment and repair methods, dry & reefer.
3.Industry Knowledge:
- Familiarity with container maintenance and repairs operations, or depot operations.
5. Strong leadership presence and ability to represent a premium Tea & Coffee brand globally.
