Head - EXIM and Compliances

About the Role:

Heads all import clearances and regulatory / taxation support from supply chain. Heads compliances framework for materials management. Works with business teams at center and circles as the subject matter expert. Team size: 1-2 persons.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own entire EXIM process and support as an SME to circles for CHA operations.

- Agency Evaluation & SOPs, processes for customs clearances & digitisation initiatives, governances.

- Customs filings, accountable for correctness of BOE.

- CTH classifications for new items, maintain CTH list, work along with external consultants, taxation, partners.

- Response to notices, hearings and supporting representations.

- Tracking provisional assessments to closure.

- On time delivery of shipments from port to warehouses, support in expediting shipments.

- WPC filings, TEC, NSDTS support and tracking.

- EPR, ESG compliances.

Experience & Skills:

- 6-15 years of experience.

- Experience of running operations of imports, regulatory clearances with deep subject matter expertise in this area. Experience in Telecom will be preferred.

- Experience of regulatory, statutory compliances.

- Exposure to ERP / Global Trade compliance and Trade management tools will be preferred.

- People management experience.
