Role Overview:
The role is to manage and oversee company's international trade operations through import and export activities. Managing respective Government authorities, Shipping Lines and customer along with full spectrum of documentation related to shipment. This position is also expected to contribute to the P&L of the respective business area.
Area of Operation:
- Ensuring timely and in-full fulfilment of exports and imports commitments
- Negotiation with shipping lines and service providers
- Ensuring safe transportation of goods
- Compliance with all applicable statutory norms and regulations
- DGFT Monitoring
- Bulk Vessel Mgmt
- Key account Management
- MSDS Preparations
- BIS Certifications arrangements
- Vendor Management
- DG Declarations preparation
- Pref certificate monitoring and Implementation
- D&D Control
- Terminal Coordination of Berthing of Vessels
- Pre-shipment and Post shipment monitoring
- Invoicing Management
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement EXIM strategies
- Compliance with regulations
- Documentation and logistics
- Cost optimization
- Performance tracking and reporting
Qualifications:
- A Graduate in Engineering Preferred with Post Graduation in Export Management/SCM/Logistics with Experience with Export Houses, CNF Agents, preferred.
Experience & Knowledge:
- 15-20 years of Experience.
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Sound Compliance knowledge of the process.
