Role Overview:

The Head - Estate will be responsible for overseeing the management, upkeep, and efficient functioning of all properties where the promoters are put up. The role requires creating and driving standardized processes across locations, ensuring superior service delivery, and maintaining high-quality living standards for residents. This position combines operational excellence, administrative discipline, and stakeholder management with both technical and non-technical oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Estate Operations & Management:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of all promoter residences and estate properties across locations.

- Ensure consistent delivery of hospitality, maintenance, and support services through standard operating procedures (SOPs).

- Monitor performance and service quality of both soft and technical service teams.

2. Process Orientation & Standardization:

- Develop, document, and implement uniform policies, checklists, and systems for estate management.

- Drive process efficiency through preventive maintenance plans, vendor audits, and service-level monitoring.

- Identify opportunities for automation or digitization of estate management processes.

3. Stakeholder & Promoter Management:

- Act as the single point of contact for promoter family members and senior stakeholders for estate-related matters.

- Proactively manage expectations, address feedback, and ensure a seamless living experience.

- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and resolution of issues.

4. Leadership & Team Management:

- Lead and mentor the Head - Soft Services and Head - Technical Services to drive accountability and performance.

- Foster a culture of responsiveness, discretion, and ownership within the estate team.

- Manage manpower planning, training, and succession planning within the estate function.

5. Compliance, Safety & Administration:

- Ensure adherence to safety, statutory, and environmental norms across all properties.

- Maintain updated documentation, contracts, and service records for all estate assets.

- Oversee budgets, cost optimization, and vendor management without compromising service quality.

- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

- High integrity, discretion, and professional demeanor.

- Ability to travel frequently across multiple locations.

- Proven people manager with a collaborative leadership style.

- Education: Graduate in Engineering, Facilities Management, or Hospitality; MBA or equivalent preferred.

- Experience: 15+ years of experience managing estates, corporate residences, or high-end facilities; multi-location exposure preferred.

Technical/Functional Skills:

- Strong understanding of both technical maintenance (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and soft services (housekeeping, security, F&B).

- Process-oriented with demonstrated experience in creating and implementing SOPs.

- Hands-on and operationally agile - able to personally inspect, guide, and solve issues on ground.
