A fast-growing manufacturing and industrial solutions organization is seeking an experienced ERP Manager Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to lead and manage the organizations enterprise resource planning platform across manufacturing, finance, supply chain, and compliance functions.

The role will serve as the single point of ownership for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, responsible for ensuring system stability, data governance, process optimization, and cross-functional ERP integration. The incumbent will work closely with business leadership, functional teams, and external implementation partners to enhance ERP capabilities, improve operational visibility, and drive process automation across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

ERP Ownership & Governance

- Act as the primary owner and administrator of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central across the organization

- Ensure system availability, performance, and data integrity for all ERP users

- Establish and enforce master data governance and ERP usage standards

- Evaluate and approve system customization requests and configuration changes

Manufacturing & Production Management

- Oversee ERP alignment with manufacturing and production planning processes

- Validate and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and routing structures

- Monitor production order processing, MRP planning, and capacity utilization

- Analyze standard vs. actual costing, WIP levels, and production variances

Finance Integration & Compliance

- Manage ERP integration with finance and accounting processes including GL structures and cost accounting

- Ensure accurate inventory valuation and cost tracking within the ERP system

- Support GST compliance and statutory reporting requirements

- Coordinate ERP support for monthly and annual financial closing processes

Process Improvement & Digital Transformation

- Identify operational inefficiencies across production planning, procurement, inventory management, and cost accounting

- Implement workflow automation, process standardization, and ERP optimization initiatives

- Collaborate with leadership to align ERP capabilities with business growth and operational scalability

Vendor & Implementation Partner Management

- Manage relationships with ERP implementation partners and system integrators

- Review and validate customization scope, development quality, and project timelines

- Ensure best practices in extension-based development, system upgrades, and patch management

Analytics, Reporting & MIS

Develop and maintain ERP-driven dashboards and management reports covering:

- Production efficiency metrics

- Inventory ageing and stock movement

- Cost variance and manufacturing margins

- Operational and financial performance indicators

- Work closely with analytics teams to integrate ERP data with Power BI reporting platform

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will be a strong ERP professional with deep experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central within manufacturing environments, capable of managing enterprise-scale ERP systems and driving process improvements across multiple departments.

Key Requirements:

- 12-15 years of ERP implementation and management experience

- Minimum 3+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

- Strong exposure to manufacturing ERP processes including BOM, routing, MRP planning, and production control

- Expertise in inventory valuation, cost accounting, and finance integration within ERP systems

- Proven ability to manage large ERP environments supporting 100+ users

Technical Knowledge:

- Understanding of AL extensions and ERP customization frameworks

- Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and ERP administration

- Basic knowledge of SQL databases and reporting structures
