Role Overview:
We are looking for a senior market professional to lead the Equity Sales function for the Private Client Group (PCG) with a focus on Family Offices, HNI and UHNI investors. The role will drive distribution of Equity Capital Markets (ECM) transactions and strengthen investor relationships across the private wealth ecosystem. A key component of the role will involve Equity Capital Markets (ECM) syndication, where the firm collaborates with other investment banks to form a syndicate responsible for underwriting, marketing and distributing new equity issuances such as IPOs, follow-on offerings, QIPs, OFS and block trades.
The role will act as a critical bridge between investment banking / ECM deal teams and private wealth capital, ensuring strong investor participation in primary market transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy
- Lead and build the Equity Sales - PCG platform covering Family Offices, HNI and UHNI clients.
- Develop strategy to expand the firm's ECM distribution capability within the private wealth segment.
- Manage and mentor the equity sales team covering PCG investors.
Client Coverage
- Maintain and deepen relationships with Family Offices, HNI and UHNI investors.
- Serve as the senior relationship manager for key investors during equity transactions.
- Expand the firm's private wealth investor network.
ECM Syndication & Transaction Distribution
- Play a key role in ECM syndication, collaborating with investment banks and syndicate partners to support the underwriting, marketing and distribution of new equity issuances.
- Lead placement of primary and secondary market transactions including IPOs, follow-on offerings, QIPs, OFS and block trades.
- Work closely with Investment Banking, ECM and Syndicate teams to ensure successful deal execution and investor participation.
Business Development
- Identify and onboard new Family Offices and UHNI investors.
- Increase participation of private wealth clients in primary market opportunities.
- Strengthen collaboration with wealth platforms, PMS/AIF managers and PCG desks.
Market Intelligence
- Provide investor feedback on valuation, pricing and demand during ECM transactions.
- Track capital flows and investor sentiment within the Family Office and UHNI ecosystem.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: Minimum 15+ years in Equity Sales / ECM distribution.
- Strong relationships with Family Offices, HNI and UHNI investors.
- Experience with ECM syndication and distribution of primary equity deals to PCG clients.
- Proven track record of placing ECM transactions with Family Offices, HNI/UHNI investors.
- Prior experience in investment banks, brokerages or capital markets platforms.
- Entrepreneurial attitude, ability to lead the team, build team morale & engagement.
- Strong understanding of the industry & strategy to tap potential clients.
Salary Bandwidth: Competitive, depending on candidate's background and experience
