Head - Equity & Market Research

Experience: 3 years in equity research / capital markets

Experience in a broking firm, AMC, PMS, or financial services preferred

Role Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and highly analytical Head of Research to lead our research vertical. The ideal candidate will be a qualified CA or CFA with strong expertise in equity markets, capable of building a robust research framework that drives client trust, investment decisions, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Research Leadership: Build and lead the entire research function across equity, derivatives, and macro analysis.

- Stock Recommendations: Provide high-quality research reports, stock recommendations, and actionable insights for retail and HNI clients.

- Product Strategy: Collaborate with product and digital teams to create research-backed offerings for mass retail investors.

- Market Analysis: Track market trends, sectors, and economic indicators to provide timely insights.

- Team Management: Hire, mentor, and manage a team of analysts and researchers.

- Content & Communication: Oversee research communication across platforms (reports, social media, webinars, newsletters).

- Compliance & Risk: Ensure all research outputs adhere to regulatory and compliance standards.

- Client Engagement: Participate in client interactions, webinars, and events to build brand credibility.

Key Requirements:

Qualifications:

Chartered Accountant (CA) - or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)

Skills:

- Strong financial modeling & valuation expertise

- Deep understanding of equity, derivatives, and macroeconomics

- Leadership and team management skills

- Excellent communication and presentation skills
