We are looking out for Head ( Equity research ) for our client office in Mumbai

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

CFA / CA / MBA (Finance/Economics) from a premier institute preferred

WORK EXPERIENCE

- 8- 14 years of hands- on experience in equity research, macro & micro strategy, investment ideas across sectors, and

research leadership with PMS, broking, and investment.advisory platforms.

- Proven expertise in managing research teams and publishing cross- domain investment content.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES FUNCTION WISE

1) Research Strategy & Coverage

- Build and maintain a sector- agnostic equity research universe with actionable ideas across themes.

- Implement top- down & bottom- up stock- picking frameworks backed by financial modelling and policy/event analysis.

- Guide research pipeline across equity, technical, derivatives, and macroeconomic updates.

- Lead creation of investment ideas, thematic reports, budget reviews, IPO notes, and sector outlooks.

- Portfolio Intelligence & Advisory Support

- Drive portfolio doctoring and long- term reviews for HNI/advisory clients.

- Align research ideas with PMS & Model Portfolios (Invest@30, Value Basket, etc.)

- Actively support product teams with cross- vertical research data.

- Team Management & Output Oversight

- Mentor research analysts and ensure timely delivery of reports.

- Coordinate with product, sales, compliance, and advisory teams for integration of research into business flows.

- Conduct daily and weekly strategy meetings; ensure publishing compliance.

- Thought Leadership & Visibility

- Conduct webinars, analyst meets, and represent firm insights on digital platforms.

- Develop in- house knowledge sharing/training sessions for research teams.

- Governance & Compliance

- Ensure strict adherence to SEBI RA & PMS regulations.

- Periodic compliance reporting and audit alignment with internal policy.
