Head - Engineering - Water & Wastewater Domain

Role Overview:

Lead the engineering function for services business in the water and wastewater domain (O&M, spares, retrofit). Ensure technical excellence, cost-effective solutions, and customer-focused engineering to support lifecycle services and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the engineering team for retrofit projects, O&M technical support, and spares.

- Deliver high-quality, timely, and cost-effective engineering solutions.

- Standardize design processes, tools, and templates for service solutions.

- Conduct technical assessments for retrofit jobs ensuring upgrades, efficiency, and compliance.

- Define and maintain spares BOMs; validate alternate/obsolescence replacements.

- Provide technical support for O&M sites troubleshooting, optimization, SOPs, and manuals.

- Drive digital initiatives like IoT integration, remote monitoring, and analytics.

- Collaborate with sales, execution, SCM, and clients during project solutioning and execution.

- Build and mentor a strong engineering team, fostering innovation and customer focus.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of water & wastewater treatment technologies (STP, ETP, RO, UF, DM, ZLD).

- Experience in design and execution of retrofit and modification jobs.

- Familiarity with relevant standards (BIS, ASME, IS, ASTM).

- Excellent leadership, planning, and decision-making skills.

- Strong cross-functional and client interaction abilities.

- Exposure to digital tools, automation, and data-driven service models (preferred).
