Head Engineering for a Large Textile Group


About the Role:

We are seeking an accomplished engineering professional to join as a senior leader and play a pivotal role in driving large-scale projects, innovation, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams, and the ability to align engineering strategies with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end engineering functions including design, development, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale industrial/manufacturing projects.

- Drive innovation and adoption of best practices in engineering processes, systems, and technologies.

- Oversee multiple plants/units and ensure adherence to safety, compliance, and quality standards.

- Partner with senior leadership to define and execute long-term engineering strategies.

- Build, mentor, and guide a high-performing team of engineers and technical managers.

- Ensure cost optimization, efficiency improvements, and timely project delivery.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as R&D, operations, supply chain, and quality to support organizational objectives.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related engineering field.

- 15+ years of progressive experience in large-scale manufacturing, engineering operations, or related industries.

- Strong exposure to handling multi-plant operations and greenfield/brownfield projects.

- Demonstrated leadership in driving engineering excellence, innovation, and cost efficiencies.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

- Proven ability to lead large teams and manage senior stakeholders.
