Role Overview:
The Head - EPC will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership across all Engineering, Procurement, and Construction functions for multiple real estate projects. The role demands a seasoned professional with extensive experience in managing large-scale residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery, quality excellence, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Planning:
- Define the EPC strategy aligned with the company's growth vision and project portfolio.
- Develop long-term plans for engineering design, procurement efficiency, and construction excellence.
- Lead feasibility and project planning for new developments, including cost, schedule, and resource forecasting.
Project Management & Execution:
- Oversee multiple concurrent projects across locations ensuring timely, high-quality delivery within budget.
- Establish standardized project management frameworks, including monitoring tools and performance metrics.
- Coordinate with design, architecture, contracts, procurement, and construction teams to ensure smooth project flow.
- Drive efficient construction methodologies and adoption of modern technologies for faster and cost-effective execution.
Procurement & Contracts:
- Direct end-to-end procurement activities, ensuring cost optimization and timely availability of materials and services.
- Evaluate, negotiate, and finalize contracts with vendors, consultants, and contractors.
- Establish vendor evaluation, prequalification, and performance management systems.
Quality, Safety & Compliance:
- Implement and enforce stringent quality and safety standards across all project sites.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements including environmental norms.
- Promote sustainability and innovation in construction practices.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
- Lead and mentor multidisciplinary project teams including engineering, procurement, and site teams.
- Foster collaboration across departments to enhance communication, accountability, and performance.
- Engage with clients, consultants, government authorities, and other external stakeholders effectively.

- Strong leadership and people management abilities.
- Excellent project planning, scheduling, and execution skills.
- Expertise in contracts, cost control, and vendor management.
- In-depth understanding of construction technologies, materials, and best practices.

Educational Qualification:
- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (mandatory)
- Postgraduate qualification in Project Management / Construction Management (preferred)
Experience:
- 25-30 years of progressive experience in EPC management within real estate or infrastructure development.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, multi-project portfolios.
