About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Head of Engineering to lead the technology function for a rapidly growing operational excellence and consulting organization. He will define and drive the technology strategy, leading the development of next-generation ERP and Supply Chain Management (SCM) platforms that enhance efficiency, scalability, and innovation. This is a strategic leadership role for a technology professional passionate about building scalable enterprise systems, integrating emerging technologies, and transforming business operations through digital innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive technology roadmap aligned with business goals.

- Lead engineering, product development, and technology teams to deliver world-class ERP/SCM solutions.

- Oversee software architecture, development, and deployment ensuring scalability, reliability, and data security.

- Explore and integrate emerging technologies such as AI, ML, IoT, and blockchain into business solutions.

- Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Operations, Sales, Marketing) to align technology with business priorities.

- Drive a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the tech organization.

- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, privacy, and regulatory standards.

- Manage technology budgets, resources, and vendor relationships effectively.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Masters preferred).

- 10+ years of overall experience, with 3+ years in ERP and Microsoft-based solutions.

- Proven experience as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or Technology Leader in a product or consulting setup.

- Strong technical background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), software architecture, and full-stack development (Java, Spring Boot, React/Angular, Node.js).

- Experience with data analytics, BI, and AI/ML applications in ERP or SCM contexts.

- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps, and software lifecycle management.

- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing engineering teams.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in SaaS-based ERP/SCM platforms.

- Knowledge of global supply chain trends, data governance, and compliance frameworks.

- Exposure to emerging technologies (AI, IoT, blockchain, robotics) for enterprise transformation.

- Familiarity with database systems including relational and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB).
