Description:
Role Purpose:
This senior leadership role drives the complete of the EV Connectors segment, covering strategy, customer acquisition, market development, and execution.
The role collaborates with Engineering, Product Development, and Regional Sales to achieve sustainable growth in the EV domain.
This role directly contributes to Elcoms strategic growth in the EV domain by driving market penetration, product acceptance, and customer partnerships at national and international level.

- Location: Pune / Mumbai / Kolhapur
- Travel: 3050% (Domestic & International)
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic & Business Development:
- Develop segment strategy & Annual Business Plan (ABP).
- Identify new markets: EV OEMs, Charger Manufacturers, Tier-1 suppliers.
- Drive, revenue forecasting, and sales pipeline governance.
Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Lead hunting, key account management, and technical-commercial discussions.
- Build deep customer relationships and manage VOC to drive product improvements.
Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis:
- Track trends, competitor pricing, EV connector technologies, regulatory shifts.
- Publish monthly market dashboards.
Product & Marketing Collaboration:
- Work with R&D/Engineering for product enhancements, prototypes, validations.
- Support product launches, exhibitions, and digital campaigns.
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead the EV Sales Team, set KPIs, and build capability.
- Ensure CRM discipline, MIS reporting, sales governance.
Brand Building:
- Represent Elcom in EV conferences, trade shows, and industry forums.
Qualifications:
Must-Have:
- BE/B.Tech (Electrical/E&TC/Mechanical/Mechatronics/Instrumentation) with MBA in Marketing / Sales / International Business / Strategy.
- 10 TO 15 years in Automotive / EV / Component Sales.
- Experience selling to OEMs, Tier-1s, EV Charger Manufacturers.
- Strong technical understanding of EV connectors, high-current components, charging standards.
Good-to-Have:
- Exposure to global markets.
- Experience in new product introductions (NPI).
- Ability to work with R&D and engineering teams.
