Head - EHS & Sustainability - Manufacturing

Role Overview:

Senior leadership role responsible for driving the organization's EHS, Sustainability and ESG agenda across India, covering multiple manufacturing sites, supply chain, projects and corporate functions.

The position will act as a strategic advisor to the India Leadership Team and drive Zero Harm, safety culture, environmental compliance, sustainability and operational risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead multi-site EHS strategy, governance and performance across India.

- Drive Zero Harm, critical risk management, contractor safety, machine-electrical safety and incident prevention.

- Lead environmental compliance, carbon reduction, energy efficiency, waste, water and sustainability initiatives.

- Drive ESG, decarbonization and sustainability programs aligned with global objectives.

- Integrate EHS into manufacturing, supply chain, Industry 4.0, Smart Factory and digital transformation initiatives.

- Ensure compliance with Indian regulations, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and global EHS standards.

- Lead enterprise risk management, emergency preparedness, business continuity and operational resilience.

- Build and develop a strong multi-site EHS leadership team and influence plant-business leaders.

Ideal Candidate:

- 20+ years of EHS experience, preferably in MNC manufacturing, industrial, engineering, energy or technology environments.

- 10+ years of multi-site EHS leadership with India-wide responsibility.

- Strong exposure to manufacturing and supply chain operations.

- Proven experience in Safety Culture Transformation, Sustainability, ESG, Decarbonization and Environmental Management.

- Exposure to Industry 4.0, Smart Manufacturing and Digital EHS solutions.

- Strong executive stakeholder management and regulatory interface experience.
