The Head - Distribution will be responsible for designing, leading, and scaling the company's end-to-end distribution strategy across General Trade, Modern Trade, and emerging channels. This role will drive market penetration, availability, secondary sales growth, distributor productivity, and cost optimization while building a robust distribution network aligned with business growth plans. The position will work closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Commercial teams to ensure seamless execution and high service levels.
Key Responsibilities:
The role will own the national or regional distribution strategy including distributor appointment, network expansion, route-to-market design, and channel mix optimization.
The incumbent will drive distributor performance management, margins, credit controls, and compliance with company policies.
The role will lead initiatives to improve reach, numeric distribution, throughput, and beat productivity.
It will oversee demand fulfillment, secondary sales tracking, stock norms, and service levels across depots and CFA operations. The role will also lead cost optimization initiatives across logistics and distribution, implement systems and analytics for visibility, and build high-performing distribution and operations teams.
