Head/Director - Software Engineering & Architecture

Role Purpose:

The Engineering leader will lead the design and implementation of advanced software solutions for machine vision and electromechanical systems. This role blends hands-on software engineering, architectural design, and technical leadership, ensuring scalability, performance, and innovation in all software deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

Software Architecture & Development:

- Design, implement, and evolve robust software architectures for machine vision applications.

- Define coding standards, architecture guidelines, and reusable frameworks to ensure product consistency.

Technical Leadership:

- Lead the architecture design reviews, technical deep dives, and code optimization sessions.

- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for complex issues and drive systematic improvements.

- Evaluate emerging technologies (AI, ML, DL, edge computing, IoT integration) for strategic adoption.

- Oversee technical risk assessments, solution validation, and scalability considerations across multiple projects.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

- 20+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5+ years in architectural or technical leadership roles.

- Strong programming proficiency in C, C++, or C#.

- Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, computer networks, and DBMS.

- Expertise in software architecture, system design patterns, and performance optimization.
