Head of Digital Technology - Automotive (2-wheeler)
Location: Pune
Reporting To: CMO / Executive Leadership Team
ROLE PURPOSE
The Head of Digital Technology will be responsible for conceiving, building, and owning the entire digital and technology backbone of the organization. While overseeing digital marketing platforms, the larger mandate is to design and implement a scalable, integrated technology ecosystem connecting customers, dealers, marketing, sales, service, finance, and leadership through a single source of truth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Digital & Technology Strategy
- Own the digital and technology roadmap aligned to business goals
- Translate business needs into scalable tech architecture decisions
- Drive long-term digital transformation
2. Enterprise Technology Backbone
- CRM (customer lifecycle)
- Dealer Management System (DMS)
- Billing / ERP integrations
- Marketing Technology stack
- Data Lake / Customer Data Platform
- Analytics & BI tools
3. Data & Analytics Leadership
- Build and manage a unified data architecture
- Define data governance and quality frameworks
- Enable real-time dashboards for leadership and teams
4. Digital Marketing & Customer Platforms
- Oversee performance marketing, website, apps
- Own lead management and attribution
- Improve conversion and ROI
5. Dealer & Retail Technology Enablement
- Enable dealers with lead, sales, and service tools
- Improve dealer experience and operational efficiency
6. Vendor, Partner & Team Management
- Lead internal tech and data teams
- Manage vendors, integrators, and agencies
- Ensure ROI and delivery discipline
7. Security, Compliance & Scalability
- Ensure data security and compliance
- Build future-ready, scalable systems
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- 10-15+ years in digital and technology leadership
- Experience with CRM, DMS, data platforms, MarTech
- Strong business and cross-functional understanding
