About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a senior technology leader to drive the resilience, performance, and stability of a global digital ecosystem within a leading healthcare organization.

The role will lead a global 24/7 operations function and drive a shift from reactive support to proactive, engineering-led operations. The successful candidate will work closely with technology and business leaders to strengthen service reliability, improve operational performance, and enable product and engineering teams to deliver with confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead global 24/7 technology operations, ensuring the availability, stability, and performance of mission-critical production systems.

- Drive incident management, rapid problem resolution, and operational service continuity.

- Define and embed Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles across the organization.

- Partner with engineering teams to establish Service Level Objectives (SLOs), manage error budgets, and promote shared ownership of reliability.

- Own the strategy and roadmap for enterprise observability platforms, including monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting.

- Leverage AI and Machine Learning to enable predictive operations, prevent incidents, and optimize system performance.

- Oversee operational change management for regulated GxP systems, ensuring changes are controlled, safe, and compliant.

- Lead the transformation from reactive firefighting to proactive, engineering-driven operational excellence.

- Influence senior technology and business stakeholders to align reliability strategy with enterprise priorities.

- Lead calmly and decisively during major incidents, providing clear direction to global teams.

Required Experience & Expertise:

- Proven experience leading global technology operations within a GxP-regulated environment, with accountability for compliance, controls, and audit readiness. This is mandatory.

- Minimum 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in technology operations, ideally leading a global SRE organization.

- Deep, practical expertise in SRE principles and practices.

- Hands-on experience managing and scaling large-scale applications and infrastructure in public cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.

- Practical experience owning and leveraging modern observability platforms to drive operational insights and reliability improvements.

- Experience driving operational transformation and influencing senior leaders across technology and business functions.
