Role Overview:
We are looking for a hands-on Head of Performance & Digital Marketing to own and scale our digital acquisition engine. This role is critical to driving sustainable growth, optimising CAC, and building a high-ROI performance marketing stack across the funnel.
You will work closely with founders, product, data, and external partners to design, execute, and continuously optimise growth experiments across paid, organic, and lifecycle channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Performance Marketing & Growth:
- Own end-to-end digital acquisition strategy across Google, Meta, programmatic, affiliates, app networks, and emerging channels
- Drive growth across key metrics: CAC, LTV, ROAS, activation, retention, and funnel conversion
- Plan and manage performance budgets with strong ROI discipline
Channel Management & Experimentation:
- Run continuous A/B tests on creatives, audiences, landing pages, and funnels
- Identify new growth levers and scale high-performing channels
- Work closely with product and tech teams to optimise onboarding, drop-offs, and activation journeys
Data & Analytics:
- Set up and own performance dashboards (GA, Mixpanel, Appsflyer, Firebase, or similar)
- Analyse cohort behaviour and campaign performance to inform decisions
- Build strong attribution and measurement frameworks
Creative & Messaging:
- Partner with brand, content, and design teams to develop high-converting creatives and landing pages
- Balance performance-led execution with long-term brand considerations
Team & Vendor Management:
- Build and manage a small, high-impact performance team
- Manage media agencies, freelancers, and ad-tech partners as required
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experience:
- 7-12 years of experience in performance / digital marketing, preferably in FinTech, consumer tech, or B2C startups
- Strong experience in scaling early-stage products or 0- 1 / 1- 10 journeys
- Experience driving app and/or web-based fintech products (payments, lending, wealth, insurance, etc.)
Skill Set:
- Deep hands-on expertise across paid digital channels (Google, Meta mandatory)
- Strong understanding of attribution, analytics, cohort analysis, and growth metrics
- Ability to connect marketing performance with product funnels and unit economics
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, ambiguous startup environment
