About the Role
We are seeking a Head of Digital Marketing with proven experience in leading marketing functions within the Ed-Tech industry. The ideal candidate will be a performance-driven marketing leader with expertise in brand building, digital campaigns, and customer acquisition strategies.
The role requires strong hands-on knowledge of digital platforms, SEO/SEM, paid marketing, and brand strategy, along with the ability to lead large teams and manage cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive 360 marketing strategies (Digital, ATL, BTL, TTL).
- Lead brand positioning, campaign management, and customer acquisition strategies.
- Own and optimize marketing budgets across online and offline channels.
- Drive performance marketing through SEO, SEM, paid media, affiliates, remarketing, and partnerships.
- Manage web, CRM, and marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.).
- Collaborate with sales, product, and business leadership to maximize ROI.
- Build strong customer personas and analytics-driven strategies for precise targeting.
- Oversee creative, content, and communication consistency across all touchpoints.
- Drive offline marketing initiatives including events, BTL activities, and community programs.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing team.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 10+ years of progressive marketing experience in Ed-Tech industry (mandatory).
- Current/previous role as Head of Marketing / Sr. Digital Marketing Manager in top Ed-Tech companies (e.g., BYJUS, Unacademy, UpGrad, Simplilearn, Vedantu, Great Learning, etc.).
- Proven success in digital and performance marketing campaigns delivering measurable ROI.
- Hands-on expertise in Google Ads, Analytics, SEO tools, social platforms, CRM & automation tools.
- Strong experience in affiliate marketing, webinars, and BTL activations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage large teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with strong data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
- Educational background: B.Tech / MBA preferred; certifications in Digital Marketing (Google, HubSpot, etc.) are a plus.
- Exposure to global online learning/training businesses will be an added advantage.
