Head - Design & Engineering - Data Centers

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design Leadership & Engineering Governance

- Establish the Design & Engineering organization for the Data Center business.

- Develop engineering standards, design manuals and technical governance procedures.

- Drive conceptual, basic and detailed engineering activities.

- Create scalable engineering processes supporting future business growth.

- Standardize design review, approval and change management processes.

2. Mechanical Systems Leadership

Lead engineering and design for:

- Chilled Water Systems

- Air-Cooled Chiller Systems

- CRAH Units

- CRAC Units

- In-Row Cooling

- Adiabatic Cooling Systems

- Cooling Towers

- Thermal Containment Solutions

- Heat Rejection Systems

- Water Treatment Systems

- Drive optimization of:

- PUE

- Cooling Redundancy

- Energy Efficiency

- Sustainability Metrics

3. Electrical Infrastructure Integration

Provide technical leadership for:

- 400kV / 220kV / 132kV Receiving Stations

- GIS/AIS Substations

- Transformers

- MV Switchgear

- LV Switchgear

- UPS Systems

- Static Transfer Switches

- Busway Systems

- DG Systems

- Earthing & Lightning Protection

- Work closely with Transrail's Substation and Power Infrastructure teams to create

integrated solutions.

4. Business Development & Bid Support

- Support customer presentations and technical discussions.

- Participate in PQ submissions and bid strategy.

- Lead technical solutioning during tender stage.

- Support commercial teams in defining project scope and assumptions.

- Interface with consultants, operators and hyperscale customers.

5. Customer & Consultant Engagement and Vendor & OEM Management

Engage with:

- Hyperscale Customers

- Colocation Operators

- Design Consultants

- Project Management Consultants

- Utility Authorities

- Support technical presentations and design workshops

- Lead technical evaluations and design standardization

6. Innovation & Technology

Drive adoption of:

- BIM

- Digital Twin Technologies

- CFD Modelling

- Energy Modelling

- Modular Data Center Design

- AI-enabled Design Optimization

- Establish design automation and knowledge management systems.
