Brand Head (DGM)

Location : Bengaluru (Corporate Office)

Reporting To : Head - Marketing

Team Reporting : 2 Direct Reports

Experience : 10-15 Years

Qualification : Full-time MBA (Mandatory)

Industry Preference : FMCD / FMCG / FMEG / Luggage / Building Materials

Languages : English & Hindi

Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Brand Head to lead the overall brand strategy and execution for a leading consumer durable organization. The role will be responsible for driving brand growth, strengthening market positioning, and delivering impactful consumer engagement across channels.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Brand Strategy & Planning :

- Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies aligned with business objectives

- Drive long-term brand vision, positioning, and architecture

- Lead annual and long-term marketing planning cycles

2. Brand Communication & Campaign Management :

- Conceptualize and execute 360-degree marketing campaigns (ATL/BTL/Digital)

- Ensure consistency in brand messaging across all touchpoints

- Collaborate with creative and media agencies for impactful campaigns

3. Consumer & Market Insights (CMI) :

- Leverage consumer insights and market research to drive decision-making

- Work closely with the CMI team to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps

4. Media Planning & Digital Strategy :

- Oversee media planning, buying, and ROI optimization

- Strengthen digital presence and performance marketing initiatives

5. Stakeholder Management :

- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, and leadership teams

- Partner with external agencies and vendors for effective execution

6. Team Leadership :

- Lead, mentor, and develop the brand, media, and insights teams

- Drive a high-performance and result-oriented culture

7. Budgeting & ROI Management :

- Manage marketing budgets efficiently

- Track and optimize ROI on campaigns and brand investments

Key Requirements :

- 10-15 years of experience in brand/marketing roles

- Strong exposure to consumer-driven industries (FMCD/FMCG/FMEG, etc.)

- Proven track record in building and scaling brands

- Strong understanding of digital marketing and media planning

- Excellent communication and influencing skills

- Stable career track record (frequent job changes will not be preferred)

- Preference for candidates currently based in or willing to relocate to Bengaluru
