Key Result Areas : - Advising on the University policies and procedures.Providing recommendations of policy and procedures. - Should have a deep understanding of University accreditation system - Approving faculty hiring, overseeing budget, fundraising, setting academic rules and policies, developing academic programs and performing other administrative functions. - Coordinate student activities, participate in activities of faculty committees, advise president of educational institution on academic matters and provide academic counselling or advising to students and faculty. - Improve school programs and monitor policies, while making sure all accreditation, State criterion concerning academics is followed. - Leading and coordinating strategic planning and curriculum developments. - Supervising, evaluating and supporting Department in a manner that promotes excellence in instruction, scholarly and creative productivity. - Leading the process of university administrator selection and overseeing the process of faculty and staff selection. - Launch of new academic programmes, up gradation of existing programme structure, course content, etc. Especially in the academic area. - To prepare the Budget Proposal. Qualifications : PhD or Masters from a leading institution in India (Tier 1 preferred) Experience: - Competencies: A minimum of 15 years of experience in Academics from premier Educational Institutions. - Experience with management of academic teams or academic functions is a must - A candidate with multi-disciplinary exposure or from a Management / Business related discipline will be preferred - Proven track record of Academic Administration in the last 5 years. - He/She should have overseen the process of faculty and staff selection. - Worked on Budgeting - A deep passion for innovation and improving organization performance. - The candidate should be well aware about the Statuary norms of each domain.
