Key Responsibilities:
AI/ML Strategy & Solution Delivery:
- Solve complex business problems across all functions using AI/ML techniques with measurable outcomes.
- Own the end-to-end model lifecycle: design, development, validation, deployment, monitoring, and updating.
- Implement ML/NLP models such as risk scorecards, propensity models, optimization algorithms, and text analytics.
Team Leadership & Mentorship:
- Lead and manage a team of data scientists and analysts.
- Mentor team members, encourage knowledge sharing, and drive professional growth.
- Foster a culture of innovation, rigor, and accountability within the team.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate closely with leadership and functional teams to understand business needs.
- Translate complex technical insights into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, providing clarity on AI/ML initiatives.
Technical Excellence:
- Ensure high-quality coding practices in Python and SQL.
- Develop robust and scalable models using structured and unstructured data.
- Monitor model performance and implement improvements to maintain accuracy and relevance.
Strategic & Analytical Impact:
- Apply strong analytical, logical, and quantitative skills to drive business decisions.
- Use data-driven insights to influence business strategy and process improvements.
- Make informed judgments balancing innovation, feasibility, and business value.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8-12 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or analytics, with demonstrable hands-on modeling expertise.
- Deep understanding of model building, supervised and unsupervised learning, and model lifecycle management.
- Strong coding skills in Python and proficiency in SQL.
- Experience with NLP and unstructured data modeling is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in team management and mentoring.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong business judgment, integrity, and problem-solving ability.
- Self-driven, motivated, and comfortable working in ambiguous, dynamic environments.
