Position: Head of D2C - Solar Business (Confidential Client)
Location: Delhi NCR
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and execution-oriented Head of D2C to lead the launch and scale-up of a direct-to-customer platform for solar packaged solutions (Solar 360 kits). This platform will be central to the client's strategic shift from traditional distribution to digital-first, customer-centric commerce.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and scale a D2C e-commerce platform for solar and future product lines.
- Drive digital strategy, customer acquisition, and online sales channels.
- Define and execute go-to-market models for direct sales, pricing, and discount strategies.
- Benchmark and compete against industry leaders such as SolarSquare.
- Lead cross-functional teams (tech, operations, marketing, service) to ensure seamless execution.
Required Experience
- 15-20 years of proven leadership experience in D2C / e-commerce.
- Prior track record of building platforms at scale (preferably from Flipkart, Amazon, or leading consumer tech/e-commerce companies).
- Strong execution orientation with the ability to move from strategy to hands-on delivery.
- Exposure to consumer durables, energy, or related industries a plus.
