Head Cyber Security R&D We're seeking a visionary leader to head Enterprise Security Research and Solution Development (ESRD) business unit of our client, one of the strongest financial institutions of our country. Role Overview: This role is critical in shaping the future of cybersecurity and system audit services through cutting-edge research and the development of AI/ML-enabled solutions and products. Qualifications & Skills: - 22 to 24 years of industry experience, including at least 5 years in a CTO/Head of Engineering/Head of R&D. - Extensive experience in technology R&D and cyber security. - Relevant experience in financial services desirable. - Strong understanding of application development, databases, networking, technology infrastructure and cyber security technologies. - Advanced knowledge of Technology Risk Management and cybersecurity. - Strong background in software development, cybersecurity, and technology infrastructure. - Hands-on experience in building cybersecurity and AI/ML-based enterprise products. - Deep understanding of technology risk management and cybersecurity controls. - Familiarity with application security, system architecture, operations, governance, and privacy regulations. - Exposure to banking operations, payment systems, risk, compliance, and financial services. - Professional certifications and published research or patents are highly desirable. Key Responsibilities: - Establish ESRD as a core, high-performing research unit within the organization. - Build and deliver cybersecurity solutions/products for Cybersecurity, System Audit, and Project Management functions. - Lead the development of AI/ML-based applications and models across security domains. - Build a high-performing R&D team and define robust processes and delivery models. - Drive collaboration with COEs in Cybersecurity, System Audit, Data Science, and Technology. Core Focus Areas: - AI/ML-based NexGen Audit tools. - Autonomous, agentic AI models for audit. - ML-driven SIEM log analysis. - Proactive threat detection and threat hunting models. - Cyber kill chain-based threat attack detection. - Critical infrastructure and attack surface modeling. - Cybersecurity mesh solutions and products. - Quantum encryption technologies. - Advanced data privacy, classification, and endpoint/perimeter security.
