About the role:

We are seeking a visionary Head of Curriculum & Learning Experience to lead the end-to-end design strategy for a spoken English learning ecosystem.

You will shape the academic and experiential backbone of our product defining how learners progress from hesitant beginners to confident, fluent communicators.

This role demands a rare mix of educational depth, product intuition, and leadership excellence.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a long-term spoken English learning strategy aligned with CEFR and ESL frameworks, integrating linguistic science with AI-driven, real-world learning experiences.

- Use learner data, research insights, and emerging education technologies to continuously enhance and scale the curriculum for diverse learner segments.

- Build and mentor a multidisciplinary academic team while fostering collaboration across product, design, AI, and engineering to maintain pedagogical excellence.

- Partner with product and AI teams to design adaptive, engaging learning journeys that balance conceptual mastery with practical speaking practice.

- Define and track learning KPIs, ensure curriculum quality, and leverage analytics and feedback to drive measurable fluency outcomes and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

- 10+ years of experience in English language pedagogy, curriculum design, or edtech program development (preferably for Indian or ESL learners).

- Deep understanding of CEFR-aligned frameworks and second language acquisition principles.

- Demonstrated success in building and scaling large-scale learning programs or digital education platforms.

- Strong product mindset translating learning science into user-centric, engaging, and measurable outcomes.

- Experience leading and mentoring high-performing academic or content teams.

- Excellent communication, storytelling, and leadership skills with the ability to align academic goals with business vision.

- Passion for democratizing English fluency and making learning accessible through technology.
