Head Curriculum & Instruction (Skilling Sector) (10-15 yrs)
About the Role:
This leadership position will be responsible for ensuring the quality of both curriculum content and instructional delivery, driving strong learning and employment outcomes at scale. The role reports to the COO and involves close collaboration with internal teams, external stakeholders, funders, and delivery partners. The incumbent will be expected to set standards, build scalable systems, and provide strategic direction for curriculum and instructional excellence across diverse programmes.
Key Responsibilities:- Design new curricula based on market demand.
- Review and update existing content to match industry needs.
- Maintain instructional quality across partners.
- Build scalable systems for curriculum and instructor development.
- Ensure compliance with national/state skill standards.
- Represent the function with external stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor the team, driving innovation and improvement.
Candidate Profile:- Graduate in any discipline; PG qualification preferred.
- 8+ years of total experience, with at least 4 years in managerial/supervisory roles.
- Minimum 3 years in designing/delivering multi-week training programs for adult learners.
- Experience in skilling, education, workforce development, or social impact sector is essential.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with exposure to government, donors, or employers.
- Excellent communication skills; fluency in English required, regional languages preferred.
- Open to travel within India and occasional international travel.
