1. CSR Strategy & Policy Development
- Formulate and implement a long-term CSR vision and roadmap aligned with the company's core business of housing finance and financial inclusion.
- Identify key thematic areas such as affordable housing, financial literacy, sanitation, education, health, skill development, and environmental sustainability.
- Develop and periodically review the CSR policy in compliance with the Companies Act, 2013, CSR Rules, and Board guidelines.
2. Program Design & Implementation
- Conceptualize CSR programs that create measurable social impact and align with national priorities such as 'Housing for All,' Swachh Bharat, and Skill India.
- Partner with credible NGOs, implementation agencies, and government bodies for on-ground execution.
- Ensure that CSR programs are scalable, sustainable, and effectively address community needs.
3. Governance, Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure full compliance with CSR laws and regulations, including Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013.
- Prepare annual CSR budgets, monitor fund utilization, and ensure adherence to statutory reporting timelines.
- Support the CSR Committee of the Board by providing updates, reports, and impact summaries.
- Oversee the preparation of the Annual CSR Report for inclusion in the company's Annual Report.
4. Monitoring, Evaluation & Impact Assessment
- Develop a robust framework for project monitoring and impact measurement.
- Conduct regular audits, evaluations, and independent third-party impact assessments.
- Use data-driven insights to continuously improve CSR programs and demonstrate measurable outcomes.
5. Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with government bodies, NGOs, local authorities, and community stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal departments-such as HR, Marketing, and Operations-to align CSR with business and employee engagement objectives.
- Represent the company in external CSR and sustainability forums
6. Communication & Brand Building
- Work with the Corporate Communications team to create awareness of CSR initiatives internally and externally.
- Promote a culture of social responsibility and volunteerism among employees.
- Highlight CSR initiatives in the media, social channels, and sustainability reports to enhance brand equity.
