Job Title: Head of Credit Card Sales Location: Bengaluru/Chennai Department: Sales & Business Development Reports To: CEO Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Credit Card Sales to lead and drive our credit card sales strategy. The ideal candidate will have 15-20 years of proven experience in credit card sales, business development, and team leadership. This role requires a deep understanding of the banking industry, strong leadership skills and the ability to develop and implement innovative sales strategies to achieve business growth. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Business Growth: - Develop and execute a comprehensive credit card sales strategy to achieve business targets. - Identify new market opportunities, strategic partnerships, and innovative sales channels. - Drive customer acquisition and portfolio growth through direct, digital, and partner sales. Team Leadership & Performance Management: - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales managers, executives, and partners to optimize performance. - Set sales targets, KPIs, and performance benchmarks for the team. - Conduct regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques. Customer Acquisition & Market Penetration: - Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, NBFCs, fintech partners etc. - Leverage data analytics and customer insights to improve product offerings and customer engagement. Cross-functional Collaboration: - Work closely with product, marketing, risk, and operations teams to ensure seamless customer experience. - Coordinate with compliance and legal teams to ensure regulatory adherence. - Partner with digital teams to enhance online and mobile application channels. Risk & Compliance Management: - Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, internal policies, and fraud risk controls. - Monitor and manage credit risk, customer verification processes, and dispute resolution. - Implement best practices for responsible lending and customer protection. Key Requirements: - 15-20 years of experience in credit card sales, financial services, or banking, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role. - Strong track record of driving sales growth, managing high-performance teams, and achieving sales number & revenue targets. - Extensive knowledge of credit card products, sales channels (direct, digital, and partnerships), and customer acquisition strategies. - Experience in B2B and B2C sales, corporate tie-ups, and strategic partnerships. - Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. - Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. - Bachelor's/Masters degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
