Head - Corporate Taxation

Purpose of Role:

The purpose of the role is to strategize, lead and head Corporate Taxation, Corporate Tax Planning, Tax compliance, International Taxation, Transfer Pricing, Litigations and Assessments for all Group Companies, including Promoter companies . The role shall be responsible for creating policies around taxation basis the laws and regulations and support all the group companies.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Lead Direct Taxation, Transfer pricing and International Taxation assessments at the group level to put in group wide procedure to ensure compliance with requirements of Direct Taxation Laws, Transfer Pricing, International Taxation & monitor the same

2) Guide and advise management on issues relating to Direct Taxation, International Taxation and ensure compliance

3) Structure tax optimised contracts and agreements.

4) Structure the Group's transactions in most tax efficient manner with regard to compliance.

5) Ensure compliance of various TDS payments and TDS returns.

6) Prepare Income-tax and Wealth-tax Returns of the Company and Group Companies.

7) Prepare various details for assessments and appeals.

8) Co-ordinate with Tax Auditors, Statutory Auditors and Tax Consultants

9) Analyse Cross Border Transaction for Domestic Companies which involves review of agreements (including joint venture agreements), advise on the tax and regulatory implications and changes to be made to such agreements, if any.

10) Appear before Taxation Authorities and Transfer Pricing Officer for hearings/assessments at various levels.

11) Compile and prepare of various data for preparation of Transfer Pricing Report for submission to Income-tax Authorities.

12) Ensure payment of tax on various foreign remittances and file necessary returns as prescribed under Income-tax Act.
