About the Client:

The client is a leading global financial services organization with a strong presence in corporate and investment banking. It is known for its focus on digital transformation, robust risk management practices, and delivering innovative financial solutions to a diverse global client base.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Lead global corporate payments operations across multiple regions and products.

- Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant execution of all payment processes.

- Design and implement a scalable global Target Operating Model (TOM).

- Drive automation, digitization, and AI adoption to improve efficiency and STP rates.

- Strengthen risk, control frameworks, and financial crime compliance mechanisms.

- Enhance client experience through faster turnaround and improved service quality.

- Act as escalation point for critical client issues and complex payment scenarios.

- Build and lead high-performing teams while driving continuous improvement and innovation.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- Extensive experience (15+ years) in payments operations, corporate banking, or transaction banking.

- Proven leadership in managing large global teams and transformation programs.

- Strong expertise in payments systems such as SWIFT, ACH, RTGS, and cross-border transactions.

- Demonstrated experience in automation, AI/ML adoption, and operational excellence initiatives.

- Deep understanding of risk management, regulatory frameworks, and financial crime controls.

- Excellent stakeholder management skills with exposure to senior executive leadership.

- Educational background: Bachelors degree required; MBA or similar advanced qualification preferred.

- Certifications in payments, operations, or risk management are a plus.
