Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head - Corporate HR to lead the strategic HR function for a fast-growing Indian listed company in the consumer durables sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in employee engagement, performance management, compliance, and HR automation, particularly with experience in Zing HR software. The role will be based out of our corporate office in Bangalore and will report directly to the Executive Director
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership
- Drive and implement corporate HR strategies aligned with business goals across manufacturing and sales locations.
- Act as a strategic advisor to the promoters and senior management on organizational effectiveness and people strategy.
- Lead change management initiatives across the organization.
Employee Engagement & Culture Building
- Develop and execute employee engagement frameworks to enhance morale, productivity, and retention.
- Foster a high-performance culture aligned with company values and promoter vision.
- Monitor and enhance internal communication mechanisms and feedback loops.
HR Operations & HRMS Implementation
- Lead digitization of HR processes using Zing HR software; ensure data integrity and adoption across departments.
- Manage payroll, HR compliance, leave management, and employee lifecycle activities.
- Collaborate with finance and IT teams to ensure seamless HR operations.
Talent Management
- Design and oversee performance management systems and reward strategies.
- Implement robust talent acquisition, onboarding, and succession planning frameworks.
- Drive learning & development strategies tailored to various functional and leadership levels.
Policy Formulation and Compliance
- Draft, implement, and periodically revise HR policies and SOPs in alignment with labor laws and regulatory changes.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and audit requirements related to labor, wages, and benefits.
People Development
- Champion leadership development and high-potential employee identification programs.
- Work closely with department heads to identify training needs and manage learning budgets.
Key Requirements:
- Education: MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent from a reputed institute.
- Experience: 12-16 years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in consumer durables, Kitchen Appliances, electronics, or FMCG sectors.
- Proven experience in employee engagement and HR digitization.
- Working knowledge of Zing HR would be ideal
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with Indian promoter-driven companies, understanding the nuances of such ecosystems.
- Company has alternate Saturdays working

- Experience in managing multi-location operations including plant and sales HR.
