Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Head Corporate Communications to lead the organization's corporate communications, media relations, leadership profiling, and internal communications agenda. The role will be responsible for shaping the corporate narrative, strengthening reputation and visibility, managing communications for a listed company, and translating complex healthcare and business topics into clear and engaging communication.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience across corporate communications, media and PR, executive communications, annual reports, investor-related narratives, and internal communications, preferably within healthcare, consumer, or other regulated sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the overall corporate communications strategy and ensure consistent messaging across internal and external stakeholders.

- Own the communication aspects of the Annual Report, including Chairman/MD messages, business reviews, company achievements, and key strategic narratives.

- Work closely with the Company Secretary and relevant stakeholders on statutory and corporate disclosures, quarterly results communication, and related corporate narratives.

- Develop clear and compelling messaging around business performance, strategy, growth, transformation, and key corporate developments.

- Lead media and public relations activities across national, business, healthcare, and lifestyle media.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, media houses, and other external communications stakeholders.

- Manage PR agencies and external communications partners, including briefing, campaign planning, execution, and performance evaluation.

- Lead communications for product/service launches, corporate announcements, campaigns, and strategic initiatives.

- Develop and execute executive visibility programs for the Chairperson, CEO, MD, and CXO leadership team.

- Create and manage leadership content including articles, speeches, presentations, LinkedIn communication, interviews, panels, conferences, and industry awards.

- Develop thought-leadership platforms that strengthen the organization's leadership positioning and corporate reputation.

- Translate complex healthcare, clinical, and operational concepts such as transition care, assisted living, memory care, and related services into simple, credible, and consumer-friendly stories.

- Work closely with healthcare, clinical, business, and marketing teams to ensure communications are accurate, accessible, and aligned with the brand.

- Lead internal communications initiatives including town halls, leadership communications, employee announcements, organizational updates, and culture-related messaging.

- Partner with HR on employee engagement, culture communication, employer brand, and leadership communication initiatives.

- Develop communication frameworks, messaging guidelines, briefing documents, FAQs, and communication toolkits for key business initiatives.

- Monitor media coverage, stakeholder sentiment, industry developments, and emerging communication risks and recommend appropriate actions.

- Support reputation management and crisis communications, including preparation of key messages, response frameworks, and stakeholder communication plans.

- Establish communication metrics and reporting mechanisms to track media visibility, leadership positioning, campaign effectiveness, and stakeholder engagement.

- Ensure all communications are consistent with corporate identity, governance requirements, regulatory expectations, and organizational values.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 9-14 years of experience in Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Strategic Communications, Executive Communications, or a related field.

- Strong experience leading corporate communications and media/PR programs for a large or growing organization.

- Experience working on Annual Reports, Chairman/MD communications, quarterly results narratives, corporate disclosures, or listed-company communications.

- Strong relationships with national, business, healthcare, and lifestyle media.

- Proven experience managing PR agencies, media campaigns, launches, and corporate reputation initiatives.

- Strong executive communications experience, including developing content for Chairpersons, CEOs, MDs, and CXOs.

- Excellent writing and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex business, healthcare, clinical, or technical topics.

- Strong experience across internal communications, town halls, leadership communication, culture, and employer brand.

- Strong stakeholder management skills across senior leadership, Company Secretary/Legal, HR, Marketing, business, and external agencies.

- Ability to manage multiple high-priority communications initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong judgment, crisis-management, media-handling, and problem-solving capabilities.

- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

Good to Have:

- Experience in Healthcare, Senior Care, Assisted Living, Hospitals, HealthTech, Consumer Healthcare, or another regulated industry.

- Experience with investor communications and listed-company environments.

- Existing relationships with senior journalists and media influencers.

- Experience supporting crisis communications and reputation management.

- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related discipline; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification would be an advantage.
