Head - Corporate Communications


Description:


Role Overview


The Head of Corporate Communications is responsible for shaping, protecting, and enhancing the organizations brand, reputation, and narrative across internal and external stakeholders. This role leads strategic communications, media relations, executive messaging, digital and social communication, crisis management, and employee communication to ensure a consistent, transparent, and impactful communication strategy aligned with business objectives.


Key Responsibilities


Communication Strategy & Leadership:


- Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate communications strategy aligned with organizational goals.


- Advise senior leadership on communication priorities, reputation opportunities, and risk mitigation.

- Lead brand positioning, storytelling, and communication frameworks across all channels.

External Communications & PR:

- Oversee media relations, press releases, thought leadership, corporate announcements, and strategic PR campaigns.

- Drive reputation management programs and monitor public sentiment.

- Internal Communications & Employee Engagement

- Lead internal communication strategy to reinforce culture, values, and business updates.

- Manage leadership communication, town halls, employee newsletters, and change communication.

Digital, Social Media & Content Management:

- Oversee corporate social media strategy, digital reputation, and online brand presence.

- Guide creation of high-quality content including speeches, blogs, videos, reports, and executive communication.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

- Lead and mentor a communications team across PR, internal comms, digital content, and branding.


- Collaborate with HR, Marketing, Legal, Corporate Affairs, ESG, and senior business leaders to deliver cohesive communication programs.

Qualifications & Experience

- 12 to 18+ years of experience in corporate communications, PR, media, branding, or corporate affairs.

- Strong media network and expertise in managing high-impact communication programs.

- Experience in crisis management and executive communication.

- Ability to translate complex business priorities into clear, compelling narratives.

Skills & Competencies

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strategic thinking with strong business and stakeholder acumen.

- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

- Expertise in digital, social media, and modern communication tools.
