Role Overview:

As the Head of Corporate Banking Operations, you will spearhead the end-to-end operational framework for our corporate banking division, ensuring seamless execution of complex financial transactions. You will act as a strategic bridge between front-office relationship managers, risk management teams, and technology partners to drive operational excellence.

Your leadership will be pivotal in scaling our trade finance and corporate servicing capabilities, directly impacting client satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and the overall efficiency of our balance sheet management. Based in Mumbai, Pune, or Delhi NCR, you will lead large, high-performing teams to deliver robust, error-free banking services that support our aggressive growth targets in the corporate sector.

Key Responsibilities:

- Orchestrate the entire lifecycle of corporate banking operations, including trade finance and cash management, to ensure high-speed delivery and accuracy for our institutional clients.

- Drive digital transformation initiatives within the operations unit to automate manual workflows, thereby reducing turnaround times and operational risk.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies to ensure strict adherence to global compliance standards and internal risk policies.

- Manage large-scale operational budgets and resource allocation to optimize cost-to-serve while maintaining superior service quality.

- Mentor and develop a diverse team of operational leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and client-centricity.

- Oversee complex trade operations, including letters of credit, bank guarantees, and supply chain finance, to mitigate risks and facilitate smooth cross-border trade for corporate entities.

- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale corporate banking operations with a deep understanding of trade finance products and regulatory frameworks.

- Proven ability to lead and inspire large, multi-locational teams, fostering a collaborative environment that aligns with organizational goals.

- 18 - 25 years of extensive experience in banking operations, with a significant portion spent in leadership roles within the corporate banking domain.
