HR Executive

Lead Corporate Banking Group at a national level. Drive strategy, client acquisition, portfolio growth, regulatory compliance, and profitability across all regions and verticals, overseeing large/mid-sized corporate clients and managing regional teams. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Leadership & Business Growth - Define and implement a national corporate banking strategy aligned with the enterprise growth goals. - Acquire and deepen relationships across large corporate and mid-market segments - Drive expansion in charging segments like structured assets, trade finance, FX, treasury, and digital banking products. 2. Regional Oversight & Team Management - Lead regional / zonal heads across multiple cities to ensure consistent execution of strategic goals. - Build and mentor teams of relationship managers, credit analysts, and product specialists. - Set performance benchmarks (KRA/KPI), monitor progress, and provide guidance to ensure effectiveness. 3. National Client Engagement & Portfolio Thought Leadership - Engage directly with major corporate clients and industry groups to understand evolving needs and enhance relationships. - Collaborate with product verticals (investment banking, treasury) to deliver integrated solutions and financial advisory. 4. Credit Governance & Risk Controls - Ensure robust credit risk processes-CMA analysis, financial modelling, risk grading, documentation, and sanction protocols. - Drive portfolio monitoring with early warnings, NPA prevention, and risk mitigation, collaborating with Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams. 5. Product Innovation & Cross- Sell - Promote structured financing, Trade, FX hedging, and API- driven digital offerings across the country. - Facilitate collaboration with investment and global markets teams to roll out bespoke financing products. 6. Regulatory Compliance & Policy Adherence - Ensure adherence to RBI, FEMA, Basel, UCP, AML, and other relevant regulatory frameworks. - Instill strong compliance culture and ensure thorough documentation and audit-readiness. 7. Reporting & Analytics - Monitor national P&L, fee-based income, portfolio quality (NPA, slippage rates), and pipeline development. - Leverage data insights to shape policy and operational strategy for senior leadership. Essential Qualifications & Experience Attribute Details - Education MBA (Finance/Strategy), CA, CFA or equivalent advanced qualifications - Experience 15-20+ years in corporate/institutional banking, including 7+ years in leadership positions - Skills & Expertise In-depth knowledge of credit structuring, fund-based and non-fund products, digital banking, treasury, trade, and foreign exchange markets - Proven ability to drive national-level growth, lead cross-functional teams, and deliver on strategic objectives - Attributes Business acumen, stakeholder management, strong negotiation and analytical skills, high integrity, and adaptability - Tech & Analytical Advanced Excel, financial modelling, and use of CRM/analytics platforms Performance Metrics - Growth in national portfolio size and revenue (loans, fees, and cross-product uptake). - Profitability and P&L targets at the national level. - Portfolio health metrics: NPA percentages, credit quality retention. - Client engagement quality: NTB acquisition, wallet share growth, CX satisfaction. - Team development and delivery against regional and national KRAs.
