Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned Corporate Affairs leader to join a premier global FMCG organization based in Navi Mumbai. In this strategic role, you will serve as the primary bridge between the organization and external stakeholders, including government bodies, industry associations, and regulatory agencies. You will navigate complex policy landscapes, ensure seamless operational compliance, and drive advocacy initiatives that protect and enhance the companys reputation.

Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will shape the corporate strategy to align with evolving regulatory frameworks, ensuring that our business operations remain resilient and socially responsible. Your impact will be felt across the organization as you mitigate risks, facilitate smooth facility operations, and champion sustainable growth in a highly competitive market.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead high-level liaisoning efforts with government officials and regulatory authorities to secure necessary approvals and influence policy frameworks that impact the FMCG sector.

- Drive comprehensive policy advocacy programs to ensure the organization's interests are represented in national and regional industry forums.

- Oversee end-to-end regulatory compliance and audit processes, ensuring all business units adhere to stringent quality assurance standards and statutory requirements.

- Manage complex facilities management portfolios, ensuring that infrastructure and operations meet both internal corporate standards and external legal mandates.

- Provide expert guidance on labour laws and industrial relations to maintain a harmonious work environment and mitigate potential legal or operational risks.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate corporate strategy into daily operations, ensuring long-term business sustainability and ethical governance.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in navigating the Indian regulatory landscape, with a proven track record of successful policy advocacy and government relations.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and represent the organization in high-stakes public forums.

- Strong analytical capabilities to interpret complex legal and policy documents, translating them into actionable corporate strategies.

- Proven ability to manage large-scale audits and ensure rigorous compliance with labour laws and quality standards across diverse manufacturing or corporate sites.

- A strategic mindset with the ability to balance immediate operational needs with long-term organizational goals in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

- Candidates should possess 15 to 22 years of relevant experience in corporate affairs or government relations, preferably within a multinational FMCG or large-scale manufacturing setup.

- Must be comfortable working in an on-site capacity in Navi Mumbai, demonstrating the adaptability required to lead teams and manage facilities in a dynamic, high-growth setting.
