
Roles and responsibilities:
1. Government & Regulatory Affairs:
- Develop and execute strategies for effective liaison with Central, State, and Local Government authorities.
- Monitor and interpret government policies, regulatory changes, and legislations impacting business operations.
- Facilitate approvals, clearances, and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Represent the company in industry forums, government meetings, and policy consultations.
2. Stakeholder & Community Relations
- Build and sustain relationships with external stakeholders including policymakers, local communities, industry associations, and NGOs.
- Manage community engagement and land acquisition processes (if applicable).
- Ensure proactive communication and alignment with key external partners for smooth project execution.
3. Leadership & Strategy
- Advise senior leadership on public policy, stakeholder issues, and reputational risks.
- Lead a cross-functional team of government relations, CSR, and communications professionals.
- Develop and manage annual budgets and performance metrics for the Corporate Affairs function.
