Job description:

- Lead strategic and commercial advisory assignments across the renewable energy and power sectors.

- Advise clients on business strategy, market entry, growth opportunities, investments, and portfolio development.

- Lead bid advisory mandates, including bid strategy, tariff analysis, competitive assessment, commercial structuring, and bid submissions.

- Develop and review detailed financial models for renewable energy, battery storage, hybrid, and other energy-transition projects.

- Evaluate project economics, investment returns, funding structures, sensitivities, and key commercial risks.

- Support transaction advisory, due diligence, feasibility assessment, and investment decision-making.

- Develop client relationships and contribute to business development and proposal efforts.

- Contribute to thought leadership, market intelligence, and development of new advisory offerings.

What we're looking for:

- 15 years of relevant experience in energy consulting, renewable energy, infrastructure advisory, project development, investment, project finance, or a related field.

- Strong understanding of the renewable energy and power-sector ecosystem.

- Demonstrated experience in bid advisory, strategic advisory, commercial advisory, or transaction-related assignments.

- Strong financial modelling skills, including project economics, cash-flow modelling, valuation, tariff analysis, returns analysis, and scenario/sensitivity analysis.

- Experience with renewable energy, battery storage, hybrid projects, or other energy-transition technologies.

- Energy modelling, power-market modelling, demand forecasting, generation-dispatch modelling, or related analytical experience would be highly desirable.

- Ability to translate complex analysis into clear commercial recommendations.

- Strong communication, stakeholder-management, team-leadership, and client-facing skills.

- Experience in using machine learning tools and python for energy modelling is preferable.
